Four high-resolution cameras provide the best possible view around the machine and throughout the entire harvesting process.

    With a zoom function for the critical transfer point of the beets from the sieve conveyor to the first turbine.

Lighting
  • More light thanks to the unique lighting concept. Wide LED strips on the cabin ensure uniform illumination, while over 300 high-performance LEDs brightly light up the area around the harvester without casting shadows. For safe transfer loading, the lighting can be dimmed in different vehicle areas to prevent glare.
  • The lighting can be intuitively controlled via the operator terminal. Various lighting combinations can be saved as favorites and accessed at the push of a button.

    The proven Mercedes-Benz engine with 652 HP (430 kW) and exhaust gas level Stage V, combined with a new hydraulic concept, delivers powerful performance while maintaining low fuel consumption.

    The automotive speed control automatically adjusts engine speeds between 1,050 and 1,300 RPM, depending on power demand, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Extended service interval
    The maintenance interval for the diesel engine has increased from 800 to 1,000 hours.
  • Service indicator for filter replacement 
    Sensors on the hydraulic filters monitor actual wear and trigger a filter replacement only when necessary. This maximizes service life and reduces maintenance costs.

The proven traction drive with individually hydraulically driven axles ensures driving comfort, precision tracking, and stability, even on slopes.

    Hydraulically driven axles with inclined-axis motors provide efficient power transfer.

    For maximum soil protection and vehicle stability, the lead angle automatically adjusts to reduce soil displacement.
  • Directional stability on slopes 
    The lead angle of the front axle in forward motion prevents drifting on slopes.
  • Reverse drive with lead angle 
    When reversing, the lead angle shifts to prevent drifting.

Soil is the foundation of a productive harvest. That’s why we do everything possible to preserve soil structure. The lightweight construction of the entire harvester and the selection of suitable tires ensure optimal soil protection.

  • Systematic lightweight design 
    The Terra Dos 5 features a robust yet lightweight construction. A straight central tubular frame made of high-strength S700 steel, manufactured in one piece, serves as the lightweight yet durable backbone of the harvester.
  • High traction with soil protection 
    Durable VF or IF tires deliver maximum power to the field while reducing soil pressure.
  • Large contact area 
    Low tire pressures of 1.6 bar (front) and 1.4 bar (rear) create a larger contact area, improving traction.
Steering
  • Stable stance 
    For maximum base stability, the bunker of the Terra Dos 5 is positioned lower. The lower center of gravity ensures stability, even on slopes.
  • Maneuverability 
    Stability and agility are maintained with an inner turning radius of 6.50 m for the Terra Dos 5-30 and 7.80 m for the TD5-40, thanks to a 60° swiveling articulated joint with a centrally positioned center of gravity near the middle axle.
  • Row guidance assist 
    Automatic row guidance using the blade sensor and shares. The row guidance assistance system keeps the Terra Dos 5 on track, even in curves and on slopes.
Road travel
  • Folding and unfolding of the blade sensor, topper, and bunker unloading belt for switching to road travel mode.
  • Retractable support wheels in the bunker sidewall ensure compliance with EU axle load regulations. These can be lowered quickly and easily from the operator cabin – for enhanced convenience and safety in road transport.
