THE HOLMER TEAM SUPPORTS THE 6TH EGGMÜHL CHARITY RUN

On Saturday, June 29, 2024, the sixth annual charity run took place as part of the summer festival organized by the soccer department of SV Eggmühl.

More than 350 adults and children braved the summer heat of 34°C and demonstrated their fitness for a good cause. Five different race options were available:

  • King of the Au (approx. 9.6 km) at 2:00 PM
  • Schierlinger Runde (approx. 6.5 km) at 2:08 PM
  • Nordic Walking (approx. 4.5 km) at 2:16 PM
  • Children’s run / ages 8–14 (approx. 2.6 km) at 2:24 PM
  • Parent-child run (approx. 1.9 km) at 2:32 PM

The donations raised from the event will go to the “Helfer vor Ort” Malteser Oberdeggenbach, the children’s center “Grüne Villa” in Eggmühl, and the Dr.-Rudolf-Hell Elementary School in Eggmühl.

We congratulate our HOLMER team – Michael Berger (9.6 km), Benjamin Kick (6.5 km), as well as Evi Griesbeck, Angela Blendl, and Ms. Lobenstein (each 4.5 km) – for their outstanding efforts in the charity run.

This is just one of many initiatives offered by HOLMER through the “HOLMER Health” network to promote employee well-being. According to Evi Griesbeck, head of the network, health is our most valuable asset. She believes: “Those who think they don’t have time for their health will sooner or later have to make time for illness.”
