Opening of the New Holmer Sales and Service Center in Zhangjiakou, China

Holmer has reached another important milestone in China. With the opening of the new Sales and Service Center in Zhangjiakou, the company is further strengthening its presence in one of the country’s most important sugar beet growing regions.

Strategic Location: Zhangjiakou
Zhangjiakou is a city of approximately 4 million inhabitants in Hebei Province, about 180 kilometers west of Beijing. Thanks to the high-speed rail connection, the city can be reached from the Chinese capital in just one hour. Zhangjiakou gained international recognition as a co-host of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Its central location close to the major sugar beet growing areas of Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang Province makes Zhangjiakou a particularly attractive site for Holmer and its customers.

Holmer Event with Distinguished Guests
On January 21, an opening event was held at the Zhangjiakou International Hotel, welcoming 110 participants from the provinces of Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.
The guests included managing directors of sugar factories, representatives of local authorities, members of the Inner Mongolia Sugar Association, and Holmer customers.

Holmer was represented by Martin Führer, CEO of the HOLMER Group, Hans Neumann, Head of the Holmer China Representative Office in Beijing, and Doris Qiao, Head of the local Marketing Department.
Holmer’s Chinese importer, Beijing Junhe Chengtian Technology, also attended the event, represented by Yajung Ping, CEO, and Max Zhangxu, Sales Director for China.

Visit to the New Holmer Center
On January 22, participants visited the new Holmer Sales and Service Center in Zhangjiakou, which will officially commence operations on March 1.
Holmer’s sales partner has invested approximately EUR 15 million in the construction and equipment of the new facility.

Key Functions for the Chinese Market
The new center will play a key role in Holmer’s operations in China. It will serve as:

  • the central spare parts warehouse for the Chinese market,
  • a facility for repairing and reconditioning used machines,
  • and the hub for new machine sales.

In total, more than 80 service employees will be based at the site, ensuring fast, professional, and comprehensive service support for Holmer customers across China.
