HOLMER Opens Its Own Service Center and Spare Parts Warehouse in Cairo, Egypt

HOLMER is taking the next important step in the growth market of Egypt by opening its own service and spare parts center in Cairo. With approximately 260,000 hectares of sugar beet cultivation area, Egypt is among the top ten growing countries worldwide and offers great potential for modern harvesting technology.

HOLMER has been active in Egypt since 2010 and has been selling machines there since that year. After a phase in which there was limited focus on self-propelled harvesting machines, the market developed increasingly positively. The outstanding performance of our HOLMER machines and the close support provided by the headquarters in Germany led to strongly rising sales figures.

Today, 127 HOLMER machines are in operation in the country. This makes HOLMER the clear market leader in sugar beet technology in Egypt.

With this growth, customer requirements have also increased. In order to respond even faster and more efficiently, HOLMER has decided to invest in its own local infrastructure. Four mechanics and one logistics employee are now available to customers year-round. Serving as the link to headquarters is Yassein Reda, who is responsible not only for coordination but also for the sales of new and used machines.

To mark the opening of the new location, HOLMER Egypt invited around 100 customers and representatives of the sugar industry to Cairo. Almost all of them accepted the invitation and enjoyed a successful evening featuring presentations about the new location as well as insights from 15 years of HOLMER in Egypt. Particularly exciting were the many conversations between our guests and the HOLMER team on site, consisting of Managing Director Martin Führer, Sales Director Jürgen Eifler, and Matthias Angerstein. Many guests already purchased spare parts for the April harvest, and additional containers from Germany are already on their way to Cairo.

With the new location, HOLMER is sending a clear signal of customer proximity, reliability, and continued growth in Egypt.

We would like to thank everyone for the successful event and are proud to further expand our presence in Egypt. We look forward to continued successful cooperation.
