HOLMER as part of the EXEL Groupour owner family Ballu.

In 1946, the winegrower Vincent Ballu invented a tractor suitable for viticulture in Northern France. In 1952, he founded his own company: Tecnoma. His son Patrick, a mechanical engineer, carried on his father's business successfully, founding, among others, the EXEL Group in cooperation with Berthoud in 1987.

With the Danish top manufacturer Hardi, the Group became international. Today, Ballu's grandson Guerric Ballu is the Managing Director of the EXEL Group, which HOLMER joined in 2013.

The orientation of the Ballu family is clear: being a federation of independent companies, the Group's long-term success and great perspective for the future is based on several pillars in different fields. As one of its largest companies, HOLMER contributes substantially to the Group's success.
