The stone content in sugar and biogas beets has always been a problem for plant operators. 
HOLMER has taken up the challenge and exceeded the practical requirements with its development.
The programme of post-cleaner variants for the Terra Felis 2 has been expanded and offers the special HOLMER Vario CR Cleaner as a transverse roller post-cleaner with stone separation rollers for stony areas. It is designed in such as way that it easily cleans small to medium-sized stones off the beets.
The stone remains on a swath in the field and can be easily removed.
The proven Vario transfer web is moved over the stone separating equipment with beets not containing any stones, thus enabling gentle loading. By moving the Vario transfer web, one or two stone separating units can work in the beet flow depending on the stone content and the required cleaning intensity.

 

This development also offers enormous potential particularly in the area of biogas beet as stones can cause substantial damage in the plants.
The post-cleaner can also be replaced thanks to the modular HOLMER system. The machine owner can therefore quickly switch to the Holmer CR Cleaner if necessary.
The Terra Felis 2 can therefore be used for a longer period of time during the beet season, thus increasing the machine capacity for the shipper.
This unique system also prevents damage in the subsequent processing chain and reduces costs for the plant operator.
