HOLMER TMS (Transponder Management System)

05.12.2013

The new HOLMER TMS combines the well-known functions for paper-free deliveries to the sugar industry with additional GIS functions and therefore offers the following in one device:
•    Planning lists and grower databases
•    Vehicle management
•    Data exchange with the sugar industry via GPRS/UMTS
•    Grower information on trucks and factories via RFID
•    Select the clamp on the map
•    Navigation on the clamps
•    Messaging by E-mail or SMS

The HOLMER TMS is housed in a latest generation Tablet PC and is operated via a touch screen regardless of the handling of the Terra Felis 2.
It supports an RFID writer. Transponder, cards and key systems can therefore be depicted with the corresponding grower data.
Users are safely guided through the points that they would like to "handle" thanks to the intuitive user interface in the programme.
A key advantage is the user-orientated intuitive user interface, which rules out long processing times and operating errors.
For example, if several trucks book in at the same time, the driver of the Terra Felis 2 can see at a glance how many and which truck IDs have registered.
By selecting the respective truck ID on the display, the right truck is selected directly to outline the grower data.
Logically designed menu items provide guidance to users through to the sending of data, thus preventing a transponder error.
Several options to search for the grower facilitate easy access.
It is possible to find the right information via the grower's name, planning data or integrated GIS programme incl. the GPS position of the beet clamps and the Terra Felis 2.
HOLMER is therefore now already fulfilling tomorrow's standards and requirements in the networking and system integration of loading technology with interfaces to growers, the logistics chain and sugar factories.
